Γεννήθηκε στα Καλάβρυτα από τον Κωνσταντίνο και την Ελένη Κολλιοπούλου το γένος Λερούνη από το Λαγοβούνι. Είχε άλλα πέντε αδέλφια: τον Σπήλιο (εκτελέστηκε),, τον Γιάννη, τη Γιώτα, τη Μελπομένη και τη Μαρίκα.
Εκτελέστηκε από τους Γερμανούς στις 13-12-1943 στην Λάκκα του Καπή.
